Language Skills

Students will pay normal Hendrix tuition. Room and board is estimated at $1500-$2000 for the semester.  Each individual student is responsible for travel and visa costs, and spending money.

Financial Aid

Normally, all financial aid applies, including Hendrix scholarships. Students are encouraged to verify their situation through the Hendrix Financial Aid Office.

Students are required to secure a Chinese student visa to study in China. This can be done by visiting a Chinese consulate in person or through a visa services courier. The Office of International Programs will help with the process.

Most students will live in the Student Hostel Culture Village at UIC in a double-occupancy room with a Chinese student.
