Eric Kenefick lives in Johannesburg, South Africa, and works for the World Food Programme’s (WFP) Regional Bureau for eastern, central and southern Africa. Kenefick has taught high school biology and chemistry in Fiji as a Peace Corps volunteer, served as Youth and Program Director at Trinity United Methodist Church, and helped establish the Returned Peace Corps Volunteers (RPCV) group for Central Arkansas. He has worked with UNICEF, the WFP, and the World Health Organization (WHO) in Cambodia, Myanmar, Nepal, Rome, Africa, Central Asia, and the Middle East. Kenefick has also spent time in Afghanistan and was part of the first assessment team, along with the CDC, in Darfur in 2004.
