2023-2024 Hendrix Housing Fall Opening and Arrival Information

Residence facilities at Hendrix will open for returning students on Sunday, August 20, 2023.  You may check in between 9:00 a.m. and 12:00 p.m. that day. Check-in will take place at the Dawkins Welcome Center.

If you are on involved in any of the following you will NOT need to request permission to arrive early as your supervisor will send your name and arrival schedule. If you have doubts about being on their list, please check with your Supervisor or Coach that they have made a request on your behalf.  

• Admissions employees
• Spirit store employees
• Hall Council (only two per hall)
• Media Center employees
• Men’s Soccer, Women’s Soccer, Cross Country, Football
• Orientation Leaders
• Orientation Peer Leader
• Resident Assistants
• Any other OFFICIAL Hendrix-related activity or work: please specify. 
  

If you are NOT connected to any of the groups on the list, but have an extenuating circumstance that requires you to arrive early, you must complete an Early Arrival Form.

Hendrix Housing Early Arrival Request Form 

All forms will be due by Tuesday, August 1 at 5:00PM. Please note that completing an application does not grant you an automatic early arrival approval. Final decisions will be sent applicants on a rolling basis. All applicants will hear of a decision no later than August 4.
