CAMPUS TECHNOLOGY SERVICE, SUPPORT AND CONSULTATION
The Oathout Technology Center (OTC) is located in the
Student Life and Technology Center (SLTC). The OTC is home to the HelpDesk, the
core of all Technology Services, especially for problem solving, device or
software requests, and consultation about technology problems and solutions. All campus clients are welcome to visit the
HelpDesk at the big circle desk in the OTC for help or to set a time to print
posters, small color prints or 3D objects.
At the HelpDesk you may receive technology support or guidance from a group
of student workers and trained professionals who bring diverse technology
experience and insight.

troubleshooting ideas, information about our services and support for your
devices.

CLASSROOM AND EVENT SUPPORT
From the base of the OTC, the HelpDesk also supports faculty and
students in the classrooms by installing and maintaining accessible,
user-friendly technology across campus. Currently, there are over 50
classroom and lab spaces plus 75 general use spaces across campus that house
audio-visual equipment to support a wide-range of uses. The HelpDesk delivers
audio-visual equipment to any indoor space and provides live sound set ups
anywhere on campus upon request, frequently in collaboration with SOMEC and
also supports large venue events in Staples Auditorium, Reves Recital Hall, and
the Worsham Performance Hall.
The HelpDesk provides videoconference, live streaming and/or
recording services to capture and deliver the live events at Hendrix to a
broader audience and provides orientation, guidance and production services in
developing multimedia projects for departments and offices across campus. Additionally,
the HelpDesk provides consultation and advice in the production of multimedia
projects, digital storytelling, short videos or other related projects.

OATHOUT TECHNOLOGY CENTER HOURS
The Oathout Technology Center computer lab is accessible
via a Hendrix I.D. card whenever the Student Life and Technology Center is
open. The HelpDesk in the OTC is staffed
during the following times:
