Wireless Internet at Hendrix

Where can I access the Wi-Fi at Hendrix?

The wireless network is available throughout all buildings on campus and some outdoor locations like the Butler Plaza Pecan Court.

Which networks should I connect to? 

• hndrxfac01 is the employee wireless network.

• hndrxstdnt is the student network--for laptops and phones.  Login with your Hendrix username and password.

• hendrixIOT is for non-login devices like streaming and gaming devices.  (IOT can't access campus resources like Campus Web or Printing.)

• (Hendrix does not recommend using Google Chromebooks.)

Wireless Access for Guests

Visitors to campus may access the Hendrix Guest Wireless network using their own email address and clicking "yes" to accept a certificate.  Please review our Terms of Service.

What wireless specifications are supported by the Hendrix Wireless network?

• For optimal wireless connectivity we recommend your computer support Wi-Fi 6 or greater. The College's wireless network can support older versions, but they will be slower.

Basic troubleshooting

• Reset auto-login on phone or mobile device
• Forget network
• Manually configure wifi
• Release, renew your IP address
