Where should I start if I am just sampling this subject as a non-major?  

Any 100- or 200- level Philosophy course (PHIL) or any 100- or 200- level Religious Studies course (RELI).

Any 100- or 200- level Philosophy course (PHIL) and any 100- or 200- level Religious Studies course (RELI).  

Some 300-level Religious Studies courses may be appropriate for a second semester first-year student.  Please consult the instructor or Religious Studies Department Chair. 

Where should I start if I have some experience in this discipline before college? 

Any 200-level Philosophy course and any 100- or 200- level Religious Studies course (RELI).
