Scholarship & Fellowship Opportunities for Juniors and Sophomores

Barry M. Goldwater Scholarship
The Goldwater is available to outstanding juniors or seniors towards their pursuit of careers in mathematics, the natural sciences, or engineering and to foster excellence in those fields. Each scholarship covers eligible expenses for tuition, fees, books, and room and board, up to $7,500 total. Students must be in the upper one-fourth of their class. Institutional endorsement is required.

Morris K. Udall Foundation Scholarship
This fellowship provides awards of up to $5,000 to juniors and seniors in fields related to the environment and to Native Americans. Consideration is given to the student's field of study and the extent to which that individual has the commitment and potential to make a significant contribution to his or her field.

Boren Scholarships
Funded by the National Education Security Program, Boren Scholarships provide up to $20,000 to US undergraduate students to study abroad in regions other than Western Europe, Canada, Australia, and New Zealand.
