Scholarship & Fellowship Opportunities for Juniors and Sophomores

Barry M. Goldwater Scholarship
The Goldwater is available to outstanding juniors or sophomores towards their pursuit of careers in mathematics, the natural sciences, or engineering and to foster excellence in those fields. Each scholarship covers eligible expenses for tuition, fees, books, and room and board, up to $7,500 total. Students must be in the upper one-fourth of their class. Institutional endorsement is required.

Udall Foundation Scholarship
The Udall Foundation awards scholarships to college sophomores and juniors for leadership, public service, and commitment to issues related to Native American nations or to the environment.

Boren Scholarships
Funded by the National Education Security Program, Boren Scholarships provide up to $25,000 to US undergraduate students to study abroad in regions other than Western Europe, Canada, Australia, and New Zealand.
