    Kevin Willmott, Screenwriter

     Kevin Willmott will present "Screenwriting, Race, and Being Creatively Maladjusted" on October 6, 2016, at 7:30 p.m. in Reves Recital Hall. Playwright and screenwriter, he is a professor at Kansas University and is best known for his screenplay for Chi-Raq (2015, directed by Spike Lee), an adaptation of the ancient Greek play Lysistrata by Aristophanes set against the backdrop of gang violence in Chicago.
