Career Services

Parents

Whether your child is a first-year student who is just beginning to think about what to study, a soon-to-be-graduated senior who is stressing about options for that next step, or anywhere in between, the Career Services Office is eager to help. Plans for life after college are best formulated in a slow, deliberate, and intentional format. To do that well, your student should be working through these options well before his or her senior year. Our website outlines the resources your student can access to help initiate focused conversations, reflective thoughts, and consideration of many options concerning his or her path once leaving the friendly confines of Hendrix.

If there is anything you or your student would like to discuss, whether listed on our website or not, please contact us. All of us in Career Services look forward to meeting and working with you and your student throughout your Hendrix tenure.

You Can Make a Difference

You may have heard the phrase “it takes a village to raise a child." The Career Services Office believes that a team approach is often the best way to help students navigate through the possibilities that exist for their next step. To that end, we realize and embrace the impact that parents have on the lives of students. Partnering with many different resources can provide students with the best and most informed plan for life after graduation. Your assistance in this process is welcomed and appreciated.
