Happenings

Honoring Our Seniors
To honor graduating seniors who have worked as a student library assistant or associate, the library selects a book, dedicates it to the graduating senior, and adds it to our collection.  To peruse this year's books and honorees, check out the display on the Reference Desk.

Centering with Labyrinths
Celebrate World Labyrinth Day and take a mindful break during finals prep by checking out our labyrinth displays at the reference desk. And don't forget to take a meditative break by walking Hendrix's labyrinth behind Staples!

Together We Rise
Come view senior Michelle Leyva's library mural, a capstone presentation centered around social justice, art, and libraries in the rotunda. The mural will be on display in the rotunda through the end of May.

Werner Trieschmann Rotunda Display
A second floor rotunda exhibit showcasing the life and works of the late playwrite Werner Trieschmann '86 will be on display through the end of the year.

Writing Center's New Location
The Writing Center has a new location in Bailey Library! The Writing Center will be located in the front part of the Snoddy Center - turn left as you enter the library, and go through the card-locked door.

Academic Assistance
<>Use peer assistance! Find places, subjects, and hours on the Peer Assistance website.
<>Writing Associates are available in the Writing Center to help with any writing endeavor!
<>Need some help starting that research paper?  Book an appointment with a librarian!

Manga & Graphic Novels Collection Highlight
Check out our new featured mini collection of Manga and graphic novels on display behind the Reference Desk. Curated by Library Associate Piper Fisherman, this collection reflects some new purchases and titles that were already in our main collection. Please give them some use and have fun with the free coloring sheets!

Book Suggestion Form
If you'd like the library to purchase a book for our collection just fill out this form, and we'll give it our consideration!

New Resources
The library recently acquired online access to Science, which you can browse or search. Also new are additions to the legal/government database HeinOnline, including Indigenous Peoples of the Americas (History, Culture & Law), Business & Legal Aspects of Sports & Entertainment (BLASE), Animal Studies (Law, Welfare & Rights), and the National Survey of State Laws.

Remote Access
Everything you need to know about the library's remote services and access can be found on our Remote Access Guide, including our online catalog.
