Shanel Khaliq is an urban sociologist and her research centers the study of gender, mobility, and the environment. She uses public transport infrastructure as a means to understand class, gender and climate inequality as it is experienced in urban Pakistan. She teaches classes on gender and the media, the urban community and public sociology.
