International Club

Who are they?

International and domestic students who work together to promote cross-cultural exchange on campus.

How do they promote cross-cultural exchange?

By hosting events and organizing activities that bring together people of different cultures, such as:

  • Outings:
    • Shreveport, Louisana’s Mardi Gras Parade
    • Crystal Bridges Art Museum (NW Arkansas)
    • Hiking in State Parks
    • Little Rock (Clinton Museum/River Market)
    • Trampoline Park/ Ropes Course
  • Campus Events:
    • International Week (Food Bazaar, International Coffee and Tea House, Fashion Show, & Talent Show)
    • Holi Festival

A group of Hendrix students devoted new international students adjust to life in the U.S. and get involved in campus activities, clubs and events.

International Friends Organization

Who are they?

Local Conway residents who are interested in getting to know international students on the Conway college campuses.  

What do they do for international students?

  • Friendship Partners (casual version of a “home stay”)
  • Conversation Club (weekly dinners and conversation – dinner provided by IFO members)
  • Christmas Party (Annual gift exchange and party to celebrate American Christmas)

Multicultural Organizations

Who are they?

Student-led organizations representing different ethnic cultures on campus. You can find a list of all multicultural clubs on the Multicultural Student Organizations page.
