Mission Statement
The Student Affairs Division works to support the College's mission
though linking student's experiences inside the classroom to engagement with
the outside world. In particular, the division focuses on the goals of the
College's mission statement of promoting self-understanding, creating empathy,
encouraging creativity, and informed deliberation. Our overarching goal is to
encourage engaged citizenship through the facilitation of programs, services,
  and personal interactions.
As a residential college, we affirm our mission to provide a safe and
supportive campus environment. Though our programs and services, we provide
students with opportunities to engage in activities and programs that connect
to the College's mission. And the educational commitment to diversity,
  inclusion, justice and sustainable living.
To achieve these commitments, the Student Affairs provides opportunities which
challenge and support students to learn about themselves and others in an
educational community while preparing for leadership and service as
  responsible world citizens.
Hendrix College encourages individuals to submit a report if they witness violations of our Code of Conduct or have a concern for a student.
