Departmental Liaison Reports
- Committee on Student Affairs: Dean
Wiltgen and Karla C. Carney-Hall, PhD
- Shirttails and Campus
- Problems: Murphy
House Tables damaged 4 tables because of the over crowding of the event.
It is about $1200 worth of damage. Murphy wants it to be replaced and we
are going to open the floor for people to come forward. So if you have
information about the furniture please come forward.
- 12 panes of the
Galloway style lights were damaged
- Someone else broken
in the softball box and stole some items! This is not good.
- NO transports over
the WEEKEND! That is great. Great improvement from toga. (:
- PROBLEM: open beer bottles!
They give us lots of leniency, so don’t misuse it. If we have continuous
disregard of the rule, there will be no cup rule. That is no fun. ):
- We like the cup
policy but if people are going to continue to use bottles and cans, we
will probably have to take cup policy away. We have to be responsible as
a community. WE want EVERYONE to maintain control.
- WE CAN NOT WALK
AROUND WITH OPEN CONTAINERS, AND please just THROW IT AWAY!!!!!!
- Special Committee on
the Constitution: Derek Cash
- 2008-2009: We had a set of constitution and by-laws.
- 2009-2010 – the document was not passed on!
- Really there is no reason for us to ignore the changes we made in
2008-2009. We are going to look with fincom for the salary disparities
and the option for one student to hold two paid positions.
- WE are going to submit the new one next week and reconcile it
