New this year-- Tuesday Community Hour!
The “Tuesday Community Hour” is the hour from noon to 1 p.m. on
Tuesdays dedicated to developing our community’s understanding of diversity and
inclusive practices. It includes “First Tuesday Talks”, co-sponsored by
the Office for Diversity and Inclusion, Project Pericles and the Hendrix Interfaith
Initiative. During the talks, community members will answer the
questions, “What is my identity, and how does it enrich my community?”
Identities addressed will include: race, ethnicity, age, religion, sexual
orientation, gender identity/expression, socioeconomic status, ability,
culture, political philosophies, and geographical backgrounds. The additional
Tuesdays of the month consist of one hour dialogues and professional/personal
development sessions on topics of diversity and inclusion.
