Senior Capstone Experience
Students will be required to complete an official Internship (HESC 495 or HESC 496) through Career Services and participate in a weekly seminar (HESC 497) during one semester of the senior year. The Internship must be approved in advance by the Program chair and completed prior to taking senior seminar. When appropriate, and upon approval by the Program Chair, a year of research during the academic year or at least 8 weeks of summer research may substitute for the internship portion of the senior capstone experience. Students wishing to pursue a research capstone will take HESCI 499 Independent Research instead of HESC 495 or HESC 496.
Students majoring in Health Science cannot double major or minor in Biology.
