Celebrate Black History Month
The library is celebrating Black History Month with a first-floor display at the Reference Desk and Rotunda of resources that tell the story of African Americans.
Books from our non-fiction, reference, and children's collections, DVDs, as well as our new database, Civil Rights Archives: NAACP Papers 1910-1965, are all featured.
The Great War: Life at Hendrix 1914-1918 and After
To commemorate the 100th anniversary of World War I, the second floor rotunda exhibit explores ways the Great War impacted life at Hendrix and sister college Galloway.
In this exhibit, curated by Sarah Bryan and Rita Mackintosh, find ads and articles from the campus newspapers, curricular offerings of the time, a few pictures, and original poems students wrote.
