Below are the requirements and applications for both the scholar and intern programs.
Eligibility Requirements (Scholars)
- U.S. citizen or national, or permanent resident alien
- Enrolled at Hendrix College with at least sophomore standing
- STEM major (science, technology, engineering, or mathematics)
- Minimum cumulative GPA of 3.0 (Although special consideration will be given to students with a 3.0 or above, students with at least a 2.5 cumulative GPA are encouraged to apply.)
Successful candidates will demonstrate a commitment to work in high-need schools, the potential for success in high-need schools, and a strong disposition for teaching and intellectual potential. Per NSF guidelines, special consideration will be given to underrepresented minorities and/or students with high financial need.

Due Date (Scholars)
Applications may be turned in any time until 4pm March 3, 2017. Please turn them in to Mills 105.
Eligibility Requirements (Interns) - We are no longer accepting applications to the Intern Program
- STEM major (science, technology, engineering, or mathematics)
- Freshman or sophomore standing (sorry, no juniors and seniors)
- U.S. citizen or national, or permanent resident alien
- Minimum cumulative GPA of 3.0 (Although special consideration will be given to students with a 3.0 or above, students with at least a 2.5 cumulative GPA are encouraged to apply.)
