Requirements for the Hendrix Wireless Network

Wireless protocol support:

  • Wireless network adapter with support for 802.11 a, g, or n


  • 802.1x authentication
  • A wireless card that supports WPA-Enterprise or WPA2-Enterprise encryption (to connect to the hndrxstdnt or hndrxfac01 networks) or WPA-Personal or WPA2-Personal (to connect to the Hendrix Gaming network). A list of known devices that do not work can be found on the Incompatible Wireless Devices page.


  • You must have a currently supported operating system with all critical updates installed.
  • A valid Hendrix username and password is required for connecting to the network.
