Alumni

Welcome, Alumni!

AABOG group

Dear Hendrix Alumni –

Greetings from the Hendrix Alumni Association Board of Governors (AABOG)! Hendrix alumni are important to the school’s past, present, and future success. As a group, the AABOG represents Hendrix Alumni and serves as the liaison between Alumni and the College’s trustees, faculty, students, and administration. Along with Vice Chair Ana Romero-Flores ‘20 and Secretary Ateca Foreman ‘04, I’m honored to serve as your 2026-2027 AABOG Chair.

This upcoming year is special. We will celebrate the Hendrix sesquicentennial – marking 150 years since Hendrix began providing a world class educational experience unto the whole person. Save the date now for the College’s sesquicentennial celebration launch during the weekend of October 9-11, 2026.

As for the AABOG and our members, we’ll be busy. Our focus will be on engaging alumni to support the College in three ways:

  • 1)Building the Future – Helping Admissions recruit the Class of 2031
  • 2)Investing in the Present – Showing up for and supporting current students
  • 3)Celebrating the Past – Fostering fellowship among Hendrix alumni

Through each of these focus areas, we will fulfill our mission to enhance the visibility and development of the College, create opportunities to for connections among alumni, and provide opportunities for alumni service and education. In addition, you’ll see us around at events like Hendrix Move-In Day, the Odyssey Awards, family weekend, the Alumni Association Awards, homecoming, and graduation!

Each of the 15,000+ members of the Hendrix College Alumni Association have been shaped in some meaningful way by Hendrix College. As we celebrate Hendrix’s sesquicentennial, I’d like to extend a warm invitation for you to get involved and help shape the College’s next 150 years!

Yours in Service,
James01
