The Volunteer Action Committee (VAC) is a student-led organization which organizes and leads volunteer and service projects for Hendrix students, both on-campus and in the central Arkansas area, and occasionally in other locations as need be (VAC organized a relief effort following a tornado that hit the nearby communities of Vilonia and Mayflower in 2014). Their projects include weekly Service Saturdays, monthly projects such as food and clothes drives, and a buddy program in which students are paired with community members to be a consistent mentor and friend.
The VAC office is located on the 1st floor of the SLTC in the Miller Center suite (SLTC 126).
