Open Enrollment for Benefits 1/1/2025 - 12/31/2025
This page is intended to provide basic information about the process of open enrollment, information regarding changes to our benefit offering, and basic information about popular benefits. If you have additional questions or need further assistance please email HR@hendrix.edu or call 501-450-1494.
Completing Open Enrollment in Person vs. Online
ALL full-time benefits eligible employees may complete one of the open enrollment options by the close of business November 8, 2024. TIP: Complete the online open enrollment process on a computer and NOT using a mobile device - it will be much easier for you that way. Chrome or Firefox works best for completing Open Enrollment in iSolved. Maximize your browser screen to view the full iSolved screen.
Passive Open Enrollment
We are introducing a Passive Open Enrollment for 2025 benefits. If you do not need to make changes with your benefits for 2025, you do not need to do anything. However, if you have a Flexible Spending Account (FSA) for medical and dependent care expenses and wish to continue it for 2025, you must complete a Cafeteria Plan Enrollment Form to continue that benefit.
Completing Open Enrollment In Person
Come and ask questions of vendors and HR staff, complete your open enrollment process and add/stop/change any benefits available during the in-person Open Enrollment"
Tuesday, October 29 from 8:30am-4:30pm in SLTC Worsham
Vendors who will be present include Blue Cross Blue Shield, VSP Vision, Blue Cross Dental, Stephens Inc. and Consolidated Admin Services.
Completing Open Enrollment Online
Log-in to your iSolved self-service portal at https://tpc.myisolved.com. If you don't remember your password, you can enter your email address on the Welcome screen, choose Continue and on the next screen choose "Forgot my Password". You may also email hr@hendrix.edu and type iSolved Password Reset on the subject line. If you have technical issues during the process, please email hr@hendrix.edu with your question or issue.
After logging in to iSolved, click on the Benefit Enrollment link in the left-hand toolbar. Once you are on the benefit enrollment screen you will be asked to make an election for each benefit by clicking the name of the benefit and then selecting your plan or waiving it. Aside from health insurance, you do not need to choose a waive reason if you are waiving coverage. A few helpful notes:
- The "Next" button is on the black bar across the top of the screen. Use this to navigate from one benefit to the next.
- Any forms required for a new enrollment or adding additional coverage will be available in the "Messages" section in the lower right-hand corner.
- After completing and reviewing your elections, on the last page ("Review and submit") there will be a pink text button that reads "Submit benefit elections" - you MUST click that button to finalize your submission.
- After you submit your benefit elections, you can click the printer icon on the upper right side of screen to print your elections.
What you CANNOT add, change or drop online, and will need an appointment for (after completing the online process for all other benefits):
- Unum Whole Life - this enrollment must be completed with our licensed Stephens broker on October 29, 2024 and evidence of insurability is required.
- Central United Cancer plans - this benefit is not offered any longer. Current participants can drop. We now offer Critical Illness with Symetra which covers cancer.
- UNUM Long Term Care plans - this benefit is not offered any longer. Current participants can drop.
- If you have these plan types, your coverage will continue unless you otherwise notify us.
You can complete the online process and do not need an appointment or to contact us to accomplish the following tasks:
- If you have no benefit changes, no action is required.
- Set/change your FSA Medical and Dependent Childcare pre-tax deduction amounts. To participate in 2025 you MUST enter your deduction amount.
- Set/change your HSA contribution amount.
- Add or change coverage for health, dental, vision, accident or critical illness insurance.
- Add or change voluntary life insurance (must complete Evidence of Insurability form to add or increase over $100,000).
- Add short-term or long-term disability insurance (must complete Evidence of Insurability form).
- Drop any benefit.
Adding or changing benefits in which paper forms are required will appear to the right of each benefit. Those items requiring a form are:
- New short-term or long-term disability enrollments.
- New life insurance enrollment, change in life amount or change of beneficiary.
- New enrollment in an FSA or HSA account (no form needed if you already have an FSA or HSA account and are just changing amounts). A form IS required for first time users of these benefits).
If you want to change your TIAA 403(b) retirement contribution you will need to complete and email a 403(b) Agreement for Salary Reduction form found here to HR@hendrix.edu or drop the form off in the HR Office.
If you are enrolled in Unum Long-Term Care, Unum Whole Life or Central United Cancer, it is assumed that you wish to KEEP them and these benefits will not appear on your open enrollment forms due to system limitations.
