Open Enrollment for Benefits 1/1/2018 - 12/31/2018

ALL full-time benefits eligible employees need to complete one of the open enrollment options by the close of business 11/15/2017, unless you have made other arrangements with the Human Resources Office.

Options for Completing Open Enrollment


In-person: Come ask questions of vendors and HR staff, complete your open enrollment process and add any benefits available as an employee during the in-person enrollment.

Tuesday, November 14 - Wednesday, November 15 in Worsham Hall (SLTC) from 8:30am - 4:30pm.

Vendors present include: HealthSmart, VSP, Delta Dental, Unum, MetLife (home & auto), Legal Shield, Aflac, Stephens Inc, Consolidated Admin Services (Medical and Dep Childcare FSA), TruService Credit Union, and Sam's Club.

Online: Visit your self-service portal at https://tpc.myisolved.com and login to complete the online process. 

What you CAN’T do in the online version of open enrollment:

  • Add any coverage other than dental, vision, health or short-term disability
  • Change/drop Unum Long Term Care or Whole Life, AFLAC Critical Illness, or Central United Cancer
  • Increase voluntary life insurance coverage amount for individuals or spouses

What you CAN do in the online open enrollment:

  • Let us know you’re continuing coverage as-is
  • Set/change your FSA Medical and Dependent Childcare pre-tax deduction amounts
  • Change coverage levels and/or drop coverage for any benefits not specifically listed in the second bullet above.
  • Add coverage for dental, vision, health, or short-term disability insurance

  Benefit Information


Retirement:  The IRS has increased the cap on employee contributions from $18,000 to $18,500 for 2018. Those over 50 years of age are eligible to make catch-up contributions up to $6,000 per year for a total limit of $24,500.

Flexible Spending: The IRS has increased the limit for pre-tax medical flexible spending accounts to $2,650 for 2018.  There has been no change to the $5,000 (if married filing jointly) cap on (pre-tax) dependent childcare deductions.

Health: There have not been changes to the health plan or TPA (HealthSmart) for 2018.  There has been a slight increase in premiums for 2018 which can be viewed on this chart. As a reminder, you can search providers online here (choose "PPO, Choice Fund PPO" as plan).  You can also view summary documents for our High Deductible and Core Plan.

Dental: No premium or plan changes for Delta Dental coverage in 2018. Search providers here (choose "Delta Dental PPO Plus Premier")

Vision: No premium or plan changes for VSP coverage in 2018. Search providers on the "VSP Signature" network here.
