Campus Kitty

Campus Kitty is a week-long series of fundraisers held in the spring of every year on the Hendrix campus. A student committee organizes the events, sets the goal, and develops with a theme for the week. The money raised goes to local charities such as the Humane Society, the Women's Shelter, and Arkansas AIDS Foundation. Events during the week include such things as the Martin Hall Man Sale, the Galloway Hall Red Lite Revue, and the Veasey Hall 80's Dance. The climax of Campus Kitty is the annual Miss Hendrix Pageant, typically the largest fundraiser of the week. First organized in 1949, Campus Kitty continues to be one of the most popular traditions at Hendrix, embodying the student body's ideals of service and aid to the community.
