    Parking Tips

Residents of Couch and Hardin Halls:

    • Those moving into Couch Hall may unload in the South Area parking lot (marked with a white star on the map below).
    • We ask that those moving into Hardin Hall use the lot east of Fausett and Ellis Halls (marked with a black star on the map below).
    • Each vehicle will receive a dashboard placard for displaying contact information, so if a vehicle needs to be moved more quickly than anticipated, the owner will receive a phone call.
    • We ask that students and parents move vehicles to another parking lot (marked with gold stars on the map below) as soon as they are unloaded. Numerous students, faculty, and staff will be on hand to help carry items inside, so unloading shouldn’t take long at all.

Residents of Raney and Galloway Halls:

    • Those moving into Raney, Veasey, and Galloway Halls may unload in the North Area parking lot (marked with an orange star on the map below).
    • We ask that students and parents move vehicles to another parking lot (marked with gold stars on the map below) as soon as they are unloaded. Numerous students, faculty, and staff will be on hand to help carry items inside, so unloading shouldn’t take long at all.
    • Each vehicle will receive a dashboard placard for displaying contact information, so if a vehicle needs to be moved more quickly than anticipated, the owner will receive a phone call.

    Residents of Miller Creative Quad:

    • Those moving into the Miller Creative Quad will enter the road leading to the Welcome Center and continue straight to the west side of Miller Creative Quad.
    • Our Public Safety staff will provide more detailed instructions, but we ask that drivers stay with their cars while the cars are being unloaded by our orientation team. Numerous students, faculty, and staff will be on hand to help carry items inside, so unloading shouldn’t take long at all. Once the car is emptied, we ask that students and parents continue down the path to the Martin Circle and move vehicles to another parking lot (marked with gold stars on the map below).
    • Each vehicle will receive a dashboard placard for displaying contact information, so if a vehicle needs to be moved more quickly than anticipated, the owner will receive a phone call.

Thank you in advance for your patience during this process. Hendrix is ready to welcome students for a phenomenal year!
