Virtuoso Basset Horn Trio La Vera Costanza to Appear

CONWAY, Ark. (September 17, 2012) - Virtuoso basset-horn trio La Vera Costanza will perform Thursday, Oct. 25 at 7:30 p.m. in Reves Recital Hall at Hendrix College.

Started in 2009 by musicians devoted to performance practice on early instruments, La Vera Costanza is made up of the clarinetists from the period-instrument orchestra, Concerto Köln. They are based in Cologne, Germany, the European capitol city of early music.

Under the artistic leadership of Toni Salar-Verdú, La Vera Costanza has performed in some of the most prestigious concert series and music festivals throughout Germany and Europe. This season they were specifically invited to perform in Berlin at the chamber music series of the Berlin Philharmonic, the "Haus am Waldsee" series.
