Hendrix Professor and Student Hit Mathfest

CONWAY, Ark. (August 14, 2012) - Associate Provost and math professor Dr. David Sutherland '81 and Luke Kressin '12 recently attended the Pi Mu Epsilon national meeting at the Mathematical Association of America's annual MathFest in Madison, Wis.

Kressin presented his Hendrix senior project titled "Properties of Border Strips on Ferrer's Diagrams."  

Sutherland, who is past-President of Pi Mu Epsilon, moderated a student session and participated in the business meetings for Pi Mu Epsilon.
