Hendrix College to Commemorate U.S. Constitution Day

CONWAY, Ark. (Sept. 6, 2011) – Hendrix College will observe U.S. Constitution Day this year with a special campus discussion and two library exhibits.

The weekly Project Pericles Forum series will explore the constitutionality of the Affordable Care Act on Thursday, Sept. 15 from 12:10-1 p.m. in the Campbell Dining Room in the Student Life and Technology Center. 

At Olin C. Bailey Library, a display entitled “The U.S. Constitution: Information for Engaged Citizens” will be viewable at the Reference Desk from Tuesday, Sept. 13 through Tuesday Sept. 20.  

In a display pertaining to First Amendment rights, a Banned Books Week exhibit co-hosted by Bailey Library and the Hendrix College Art Department will be on display Saturday, Sept. 24 through Saturday, Oct. 1 in Bailey Library.
