Hendrix College Alumnus a Rising Star on the Americana Music Scene

Hayes Carll, a native of The Woodlands, Texas, has been performing his own songs across the country since he graduated from Hendrix in 1998.

Since 2002, he has released four albums, which have garnered the musician countless awards and accolades including the 2008 Americana Music Association’s Song of the Year award.

Carll released his fourth album KMAG YOYO in 2011 to critical acclaim. The title track has been nominated for the 2011 Americana Music Association Song of the Year, and Carll has been nominated for Artist of the Year.

Carll recently performed at Bonnaroo Music Festival in Manchester, Tenn., and will play at this year’s Austin City Limits in Austin, Texas, in addition to numerous other tour dates.
