Senior Student Athlete Award Winners Announced

CONWAY, Ark. (May 9, 2011) – The Hendrix College Athletics Department recently announced the winners of its annual student athlete awards.

Senior lacrosse captain, Daniel Abernathy, and senior women’s soccer captain, Amelia Wildenborg, both earned this year’s Bob Courtway Leadership Award.

Senior women’s basketball and softball standout, Christina Byler, and senior cross country and track and field leader Drew Kellum received the 2010-11 Carl Babcock Award.

Senior field hockey captain, Heather Newell, will represent Hendrix as this year’s NCAA Woman-of-the-Year.
