Suzanne Banister, Instructor of Voice


Since moving to Arkansas from New Orleans, LA, Suzanne Banister has been an active teacher and performer.  She is a member of National Association of Teachers of Singing and has had numerous students advance to the finals in both the state and regional levels of the annual NATS voice competitions.  As a performer, Suzanne has been a frequent soloist with the Arkansas Symphony Orchestra and the Fort Smith Symphony Orchestra.  She has also appeared as soloist with the Lake Charles Symphony, Pine Bluff Symphony, Conway Symphony Orchestra, Opera Theatre at Wildwood, New Orleans Opera, and Memphis Vocal Arts Ensemble.  In April of 2006, Suzanne will perform with the South Arkansas Symphony in El Dorado, AR.  She is a past winner of the Arkansas Metropolitan Opera Audit ions and has been a guest recitalist at the Governor's Mansion.  Suzanne received a Bachelor's Degree in Vocal Performance from Louisiana College and a Master of Music Degree in Vocal Performance from Loyola University at New Orleans.
