    Dr. Jericka Battle – Associate Provost for Community and Belonging

    Dr. Jericka Battle provides leadership for Hendrix’s institutional belonging strategy, guiding the integration of equity, inclusion, and student success across the College. She holds a doctorate in Social Psychology from Texas A&M University, with research and professional experience centered on issues of race, gender, power, and the effects of ostracism. Dr. Battle’s work has focused on strengthening pedagogical practices that foster inclusive excellence, expanding access to educational opportunities, and cultivating culturally responsive environments. Through her scholarship and leadership, she partners with faculty, staff, and students to ensure Hendrix remains a place where academic rigor and community care are woven together.

    Amber Booth-McCoy is an experienced inclusion strategist and educator with over a decade of expertise in higher education, organizational culture, and inclusive leadership. She received dual degrees in Psychology and Sociology from the University of Arkansas at Little Rock and is pursuing a terminal degree in Organizational Leadership with an emphasis in Social Justice at Adler University. Amber’s work centers on advancing equity-driven strategies, building sustainable systems of belonging, and guiding institutions in creating cultures where all members are seen, valued, and supported. At Hendrix, she collaborates with students, faculty, staff, and external partners to foster authentic connection and intentional inclusivity across campus life.
