As a part of a new academic advising model, the Career Specialist is a 12 month full-time professional staff member in the office of Advising and Academic Success and reports directly to the Director of Career Counseling and Internships.
This position will work closely
to assist students, faculty, and other members of campus to facilitate the
exploration of major and career choices within the health professions.
Qualifications
The ideal candidate will possess a Master’s degree and/or work experience in a Health related field. Career counseling or advising experience is a plus. The Career Specialist must have an understanding of the culture, values and curriculum of a liberal
arts college.
