Insurance

Hendrix College offers full-time employees a variety of supplemental insurance beyond standard health and welfare offerings such as health, dental and vision.  Here we provide a brief look at what those benefits are and useful forms for those employees have enrolled in those benefits.  If you don't find what you're looking for please contact our Benefits Manager.

Life Insurance - Full-time employees automatically receive one times their annual salary in life insurance starting the day of hire. In addition a supplemental term life policy is available for additional coverage on employees and their families.

Short Term (STD) & Long Term Disability (LTD) - This benefit provides 60% of gross wages for work missed due to an injury or illness (see policy book for more detailed description). 

Aflac Critical Illness - Provides supplemental coverage for critical illnesses to provide additional financial protection when facing illness.

Aflac Accident Insurance - An insurance to assist provide coverage against the unexpected costs of an accident.

Aflac Cancer Insurances - Provides supplemental coverage in the event of a cancer diagnosis or related diagnostic testing is needed.
