The Class of '66 Challenge!
In honor of our Fiftieth Class Reunion, four members of our Class of 1966 who wish to remain anonymous pledged $33,000 in increased gifts to the Hendrix Annual Fund for scholarships and financial aid. They challenged the remaining members of the class, along with other members of the Half Century Club, to match their pledge for a total gift of $66,000 in new and increased gifts in honor of the Class of '66.
The completed gift honors the past - the Hendrix that formed us and the lives we lived in that tradition. Today 100% of Hendrix students receive scholarships and other financial aid because of alumni support. President Tsutsui has begun bold collaborations with some of Arkansas' finest preparatory schools to ensure that every applicant meriting a Hendrix education can afford it. Success depends directly on generosity to the Hendrix Annual Fund.
The College's 2015-2016 fiscal year ended on May 31, 2016 and we are proud to announce that we made our Challenge goal. Together, we raised a total of $79,635. Thank you for supporting the Annual Fund!
If you have any questions about this Challenge, or how to create your own donor challenge, contact Jenn Morehead, Director of Annual Giving, by email at firstname.lastname@example.org or by phone at (501) 450-1360. The 2016-2017 fiscal year kicked off on June 1 and the College needs your support to make the Hendrix dream a reality for students. You can make your gift anytime online at www.hendrix.edu/makeagift.
