Cultural Experiences (Buddhist, Taoist, Confucian) through visiting various cultural site in China, especially Beijing

Social Analysis as prompted by immersion in a rising industrial center in China, namely Harbin, combined with interviews with students, farmers, factory workers, and entrepreneurs in Harbin

Philosophical reflection on intellectual vision s now being considered by Chinese educators and intellectuals as they seek to bypass the problems of western modernity and move into a just, sustainable future.

East-West dialogues with Chinese students while taking a course with them on Process Philosophy, Globalization, and Higher Education in Harbin.
