Hi. I'm Dana DeMilt. I am from Memphis, Tennessee- home of Elvis Presley and the blues. Tennessee is located in the south eastern part of the United States. In my spare time I like to golf, paint, play the guitar and jimbe (an African hand drum), and enjoy the outdoors. My major is in Religion and Philosophy. My favorite courses in college so far have been World Religions in a Global Context and Plato and Aristotle. When I am in China I especially look forward to understanding a different culture and hopefully become aware and active in its progression into becoming a world leader. I also look forward to making new connections with people during the trip and continuing after the trip. I hope to gain a better grasp of Chinese religion and philosophy.
