March 3, 2026 – A new
dining concept centered on elevated comfort food and a craft kitchen experience
is set to open this weekend in The Village at Hendrix. Roost & Tap Kitchen
will celebrate its official grand opening on Saturday, March 7, from 11 a.m. to
11 p.m. at 1050 Ellis Avenue.
To mark the occasion, Roost & Tap is bringing the
heat: the first 20 tables on opening day will receive free chicken for a year,
featuring the restaurant’s signature rotisserie and fried chicken.
“At Roost & Tap, flavor and community share the same
table,” said Owner Charles Frost, Jr. “We’re super excited to share this unique
and fun experience in The Village at Hendrix with the city of Conway.”
Born from a love of cooking and southern comfort food,
Roost & Tap Kitchen blends rustic charm with modern warmth. The menu
features slow-roasted rotisserie favorites, bold soul-influenced dishes,
locally inspired sides, and seasonal offerings, all crafted with intention.
Roost & Tap Kitchen expands offerings in the entertainment
district in The Village at Hendrix which was approved by the Conway City Council
in November. Guidelines allow adult
patrons aged 21 and older to carry alcoholic beverages within the district if purchased
from participating restaurants during designated hours. Boundaries of the
entertainment district include the green space in the center of the commercial
district at The Village, between Ellis Avenue, Steel Avenue, and Altus Street.
“Roost & Tap is a welcoming space where friends from
across the community become family. Come check it out and celebrate with us,” Frost
added. “We’re offering VIP tastings ahead of our grand opening and would love
to share this new dining experience centered around great food, craft
beverages, and community connection.”
Before Saturday’s grand opening, guests are invited to
participate in Roost & Tap’s VIP First Taste events, held March 3-5 for
both lunch and dinner seatings. VIP tastings offer a curated, limited tasting
menu featuring signature dishes. All food is included with each ticket purchase,
and diners will be given an opportunity to share feedback ahead of the grand
opening.

in The Village at Hendrix from Sunday to Thursday from 11 a.m. to 10 p.m. and
Friday and Saturday from 11 a.m. to 11 p.m.
