February 17, 2026 - February has been huge for the Warriors and junior standout Riley Brady.
Hendrix secured a doubleheader sweep in SCAC play against Centenary earlier this month, showcasing resilience, heart, and elite play on both ends of the court. The Warriors secured a 72–55 victory over Centenary on Feb. 6, powered by Brady’s 38-point, 17-rebound performance, tying a program scoring record and carrying the offense with unstoppable energy. Then on Feb. 7, Hendrix got an exciting 74–69 overtime win against LeTourneau, forcing extra time behind Brady’s late-game heroics and clutch play to fuel the comeback.
But the story didn’t stop there. Brady’s remarkable performances earned her both SCAC Offensive and Defensive Player of the Week honors, a first in conference history! Her weekend stats were impressive: dominant scoring, relentless rebounding, and lockdown defense that helped carry the Warriors through two huge wins.
And if that wasn’t enough, Brady was named USBWA Division III National Player of the Week, marking the first time a Warrior has received this prestigious national recognition! Over the week she averaged 33 points, 23.5 rebounds, and 4 steals per game, solidifying her standout status in all of Division III women’s basketball.
What a time to be a Hendrix Warrior! You've got two more chances to catch Brady and the Warriors in action at home during regular season play. Catch both the women's and men's basketball teams in Grove Gym as they face Austin College Friday (Feb. 20) and University of Dallas on Saturday (Feb. 21).
