March 12, 2026 – Hendrix
Players will present three performances of the 2026 Hendrix Dance Ensemble
Spring Concert: Fri., April 3 at 7:30 p.m. and Sat., April 4 at 2:00 p.m. and
7:30 p.m. in Staples Auditorium, building 12 on the Hendrix campus map.
The free concert is open to the public, and the community

Directed by Hendrix College Professor Brigitte Rogers,
this celebration of dance features pieces from an array of dance genres
including modern, tap, musical theatre, ballet, and jazz. Professor Rogers
shared, “This year is particularly exciting because each of the 19 members of
the Hendrix Dance Ensemble will be beautifully showcased throughout the
concert.”
The concert features pieces choreographed by current
members of the Hendrix Dance Ensemble, as well as a piece choreographed by
Professor Rogers accompanied by two live saxophonists, Andrea Duina (professor
of biology) and David Hales (professor of chemistry).
