Hendrix College Office of Advancement announces newest additions to team

November 3, 2025 – Hendrix College is pleased to announce three new appointments in its Office of Advancement, strengthening its efforts to engage alumni, donors, and friends in support of the College’s mission and strategic priorities. Joining the team are Natalie Burgess ’21 and Jennie McNulty as major gifts officers and Sharon Kuhn as executive assistant of advancement.

Burgess, a Hendrix alumna, returns to her alma mater bringing a dynamic blend of donor relations expertise, fundraising strategy, and grant management experience to the role. She holds a Bachelor of Arts in Political Science with a minor in Social Justice from Hendrix College. Her professional journey includes roles at the Fayetteville Public Library, the Arkansas House Democratic Caucus, and the Woodrow Wilson Center, where she honed her skills in CRM database management, event coordination, and donor engagement.

“We are thrilled to welcome Natalie back to Hendrix in this important role,” said Quincy Davidson, vice president for advancement. “Her passion for mission-driven work and her ability to build meaningful relationships will be instrumental in advancing our fundraising efforts and supporting the College’s strategic priorities.”

McNulty, a seasoned nonprofit leader and arts advocate, joins the advancement team with over two decades of experience in arts education, fundraising, marketing, and strategic planning. A graduate of the University of Central Arkansas, she earned a Bachelor of Arts in Writing and Rhetoric and graduated cum laude with honors. Her career includes leadership roles at Blackbird Academy of Arts, the Conway Civic League, and the Creative Institute/Conway Art Walk. She has also served as a marketing specialist at Nabholz Corporation and as a consultant for nonprofit and education-based organizations.

“Jennie’s deep roots in the Conway community and her proven ability to rally people around a shared vision make her an exceptional addition to our advancement team,” noted Davidson. “Her strategic mindset and passion for the arts and education align perfectly with Hendrix’s mission.”

McNulty has been recognized with numerous awards, including the Conway Chamber of Commerce’s Outstanding Woman in Nonprofit and Young Business Leader of the Year. She has also served on multiple boards and committees dedicated to public art, arts education, and community development.

As major gifts officers, Burgess and McNulty will focus on cultivating and stewarding major gift prospects, supporting campaign initiatives, and enhancing donor engagement across the Hendrix community.

Kuhn brings to Hendrix more than 20 years of experience in higher education administration, financial operations, and donor support services, offering a wealth of expertise and a deep commitment to organizational excellence. She has held administrative and project specialist roles at institutions including the University of Central Arkansas, Mississippi Gulf Coast Community College, and Delta State University.

“Sharon’s exceptional organizational skills and her deep understanding of advancement operations make her a tremendous asset to our team,” said Davidson. “Her professionalism and dedication to supporting mission-driven work will help us continue to build strong relationships with our donors and alumni.”
