Forms now has a setting for limiting the time on a quiz.
When editing a Form, in the upper right click the 3-dots for the drop down and choose Settings. In the settings menu, under Options for Responses, you can now click a box for Set time duration.
Your students will see a preview screen to let them know this is a timed quiz and the duration.
When taking the quiz, students will have a timer along the top row.
Students receive a notification when the quiz ends.
