If your Outlook is taking a long time to load, you might need to make sure that you are running Outlook in Cached Mode. Below are the steps to ensure that you are running in Cached Mode.

  1. In Outlook, click on the File tab.
  2. Choose the Accounting Settings Icon and then click "Account Settings" from the dropdown box.
  3. Clock on the email account you want to change, (usually there is only one) and choose the "Change" button.
  4. Check the box labeled "Use Cached Exchange Mode" under "Offline Settings".

If "Use Cached Exchange Mode" is already checked, please open a HelpDesk ticket to have your computer checked.
