Each spring, Hendrix College Career Services looks forward to welcoming a wide array of organizations to campus with the goal of assisting in your recruiting efforts while connecting our students with internship and employment opportunities. With the pandemic forcing large events like ours to move to a virtual format, we have joined forces with the University of Central Arkansas and Central Baptist College to offer you something new. We are excited to be able to offer this chance for you to meet with students from Hendrix, UCA, and CBC during one convenient event!
The 2021 Virtual Spring Job Fair on Wednesday, March 3rd(9am-12pm) will give you the opportunity to connect with students through 1:1 and group sessions in an easy-to-use on-line platform.
While we do plan to return to our traditional, in-person event in March of 2022 (see below to see more information about the 2022 fair), we are pleased to be able to collaborate with our neighboring institutions for the benefit of your organization and our students.

Armed with a Hendrix liberal arts education, a wide-ranging skill set, and an impressive portfolio of academic achievements and active learning experiences, our students and alumni stand out as promising candidates for competitive career and internship opportunities. Our goal for this event is to create an exciting atmosphere where students and alumni may meet with a variety of recruiters to discuss current or future employment and internship opportunities and build mutually beneficial connections. (View photos from the 2020 event here. And, look here for photos of alumni recruiters at this year's event.)
Information for Students and Alumni
We encourage attendance by all students – regardless of your class level, academic background, or where you are in your career search – and job-seeking alumni. Whether you plan to actively seek a job or internship during this event, or if you’re just curious about finding out what options might be out
there, don’t miss this great opportunity to build valuable connections with recruiters who are interested in hiring Hendrix students and alumni! While most of the representatives who attend this event are typically based in the Arkansas area, the companies and organizations they represent often times have locations across the United States and around the world. A select number of professional schools will be present, as well. A list of 2020 participating companies, organizations, and professional schools can be found here. A list organized by majors can also be found here.
And don’t forget that you can make a great first impression by bringing copies of your resume and dressing appropriately.
Schedule an appointment with our office to discuss these and other preparation tips before the Career and Internship Fair.
Information for Recruiters
We appreciate your interest in recruiting Hendrix students and alumni, and we look forward to welcoming you on campus this spring! Due to the popularity of previous years' events, we typically cap our fair at 55 registrants. The registration fee is $50 through January
31; it will increase to $75 in February. This fee includes a table at the event, complimentary parking, light morning refreshments, and lunch for two guests. An additional $10 fee will be added to your total for each additional representative beyond two. Registration confirmation will be sent shortly after submitting the form with invoices for payment following shortly thereafter. Additional information about directions,
parking, and other day-of-event details will arrive via email the week prior to the event.
We anticipate a wide variety of students attending the fair. Some will attend with resume in hand ready to discuss their qualifications and how they can help your company or organization achieve its goals. Others will be in more of an “exploratory” mode in which they are beginning to familiarize
themselves with what may be available to them upon graduation, or when they might like to do an internship. Whether you have immediate hiring needs or you’re looking for some longer-term “prospects” to begin a dialogue with, we know that you’ll enjoy meeting our bright
students. We look forward to working with you on this wonderful opportunity!
