Research interest: Digital circuit simulation, started open-source project called Logisim
I started an open-source project called Logisim, and I continue to lead the development of it. This Java-based, cross-platform software allows users to graphically edit and simulate digital logic circuits. Colleges around the world use this software for teaching students about the design of computer CPUs (central processing units). Consequently, I am interested in problems relating to efficiently simulating, drawing, and editing digital circuits.
