Hendrix to Host Fidelis String Quartet

CONWAY, Ark. (July 1, 2016) – The Harold Thompson Concert Series at Hendrix College will host the Fidelis String Quartet, featuring Hendrix music professor Dr. Norman Boehm on piano, on Tuesday, Aug. 30, at 7:30 p.m., in Staples Auditorium on the Hendrix campus.

The program, which is free and open to the public, includes Piano Quintet in E-flat, Op. 44 by Robert Schumann and a premiere performance of Piano Quintet in B-flat, "In the Classical Style" by Dr. Boehm.

The Fidelis Quartet includes Houston Symphony members: Rodica Gonzales, violin; Mihaela Frusina, violin; Wei Jiang, viola; and Jeffrey Butler, cello.
