The student attendees included:

  • Marianna Thomeczek ’18

The students are members of Hillel, the Jewish student organization at Hendrix. They were invited to the AJC event by Hendrix College Board of Trustees member Joe Goyne ’69. Hendrix trustee member Rev. Bill Smith ’63 was also in attendance.

“We were very excited when we heard about this opportunity because Aaron David Miller is considered an expert on the Arab-Israeli conflict and other Middle Eastern issues, topics that are at the forefront of our mind,” said Thomeczek. “His lecture was very insightful and we are very fortunate that we had this opportunity.”
