CONWAY, Ark. (April 15, 2014) – The Hendrix College Office
of Marketing Communications received two awards at the Council for Advancement
and Support of Education (CASE) Southwest District IV meeting in Houston,
Texas.
Hendrix won a gold award in the Articles of the Year
category for “R.I.P. Liberal Arts,” the cover story from the spring 2013 issue
of Hendrix Magazine, and a silver
award in the Web- E-Newsletter category for the alumni e-newsletter.
The Marketing Communications Office also won three awards
at the annual International Association of Business Communicators (IABC
Arkansas) Bronze Quill awards in Little Rock, Ark. Hendrix won an excellence
award in the Publications category for the fall 2013 issue of Hendrix Magazine, an excellence award in
the Writing category for the lead story in the spring 2013 magazine, and an
award of merit in the Special Events – External category for The First Game – Restarting Football at
Hendrix College.
