Chamber Players Present Spring Concert

CONWAY, Ark. (April 4, 2013) - The Hendrix College Music Department presents a concert by the Chamber Players on Wednesday, April 17 at 7:30 p.m. in Reves Recital Hall. 

The program will feature members of the Hendrix College String Quartet, Kenna Tuggle, Charley Ford, Kristen O'Connell, and Gary DeClerk, and Hendrix College Chamber Orchestra Concert Master Anthony Cabrera in a program of string chamber music with Hendrix College Quartet in Residence, the Rockefeller Quartet of the Arkansas Symphony.

The program includes selected works for string quartet from a larger body of repertoire that the students have prepared for their Odyssey project in Professional Leadership and Development, and the Mendelssohn Octet under the guidance of Dr. Karen Griebling and members of the Rockefeller Quartet, Christian Baker, Darby Bedell, Katherine Reynolds and Dan Cline.
