Add an Archived Data File to Outlook

  1. Open Outlook.
  2. Go to the Home tab, and click the drop down arrow next to "New Items".
  3. Click "More Items", then click "Outlook Data File".
  4. Browse to where your data file is stored. The default locations for Windows 8/7/Vista are:
    • Windows 8: drive:\Users\AppData\Local\Microsoft\Outlook or drive:\Users\Roaming\Local\Microsoft\Outlook
    • Windows 7 / Windows Vista: drive:\Users\\Documents\Outlook Files
